Checked every minute from outside our host: the site counts as up only when it answers and fresh prices are coming in. If a month's uptime is under 99%, every member on a weekly or monthly plan or a 24-hour pass gets all of the time we were down that month added to their plan, automatically, on the 1st (it shows on their account page), or a refund for that time if they ask. Any outage on our side counts, whatever the cause.

The exchange's weekly maintenance
Every Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 AM Eastern (next: Thu Nov 05, 02:00 to 04:00 AM Central), the exchange that lists these markets pauses trading for its scheduled maintenance. Prices stand still then and the Live page says so over the chart. Those two hours are the exchange's, not ours, so they are not counted as downtime here.
